Helping Haiti: SEPTA Assisting With Earthquake Relief

Monetary Donations To Be Collected At Transit Hubs On Tuesday, January 19th

SEPTA is assisting in efforts to provide relief for earthquake victims in Haiti with events at four major transit hubs on Tuesday, January 19th.

In partnership with the American Red Cross, Fox 29 and Greater Philadelphia Media, monetary donations will be collected during the morning and evening rush hours on Tuesday at the 69th Street Terminal, Suburban Station, Market East Station and Frankford Transportation Center. Fox 29 will broadcast live from each location during its Good Day morning program from 5 am to 9 am, and again in the evening during Fox 29 News at Five and Fox 29 News at Six.

SEPTA Ambassadors will be on-hand to help engage customers in this effort.

Money collected will be used by the Red Cross in its ongoing mission to aid victims of this devastating earthquake.
