New SEPTA Regional Rail Schedules Go Into Effect, December 18

New Regional Rail Schedules are available now at locations system-wide and online.

New schedules are available now at locations system-wide and online. Schedule changes include:

Manayunk-Norristown Line

Most weekday morning trains inbound to Center City will have earlier departure times.

Glenside Combined

Due to overhead wire replacement work, the following trains will no longer serve Glenside Station on weekdays and Sundays:

  • train 499 (4:29 a.m.)
  • train 403 (4:59 a.m.)
  • train 476 (1:03 am)

Substitute bus service will operate for trains 499 and train 403. Buses will depart from Glenside at 4:21 am and 4:51 am to connect with the train at Jenkintown. Passengers should add a few extra minutes into their morning commute. These buses will operate weekdays and Sundays.

No substitute service will be provided for train 476 due to the limited amount of riders.

Lansdale/Doylestown Line

Due to low ridership, weekend stops at Link Belt and New Britain stations are discontinued. Alternative Lansdale/Doylestown Line stations are located within one mile of both stations.

Trains from Center City to Doylestown will operate 24 minutes earlier.

Media/Elwyn Line

Certain morning and evening rush-hour trains at 49th Street and Angora stations will be designated as flag stops. Trains will only stop to discharge passengers who notify the conductor ahead of time or if waiting passengers at the station are visible to the engineer as the train approaches. These stops are indicated in online timetables and passenger notices posted at the stations.
