SEPTA Urges Customers to Use Key Cards and Pre-purchase Quick Trip Tickets for Easy Travel to and from Phillies Games

SEPTA is urging customers heading to Citizens Bank Park for this weekend’s Phillies/Twins series to pre-load their SEPTA Key Cards or purchase Quick Trip tickets for easy travel to-and-from the games. Customers using Quick Trips should purchase two tickets before the game to avoid lines on the way home.

Fans with season tickets or multiple game attendees are advised to consider getting a SEPTA Key Card, which allows users to simply “tap and ride” by conveniently loading fare products online or at fare kiosks throughout the SEPTA system. The card can also be registered, which protects user in the event of loss or theft. For more information about the SEPTA Key program, visit www.septa.org/key.

Additionally, extra service will be added on the Broad Street Line on April 5, 6 & 7 with express trains to NRG Station, supplementing regularly scheduled Local and Express trains. Specific schedule and other information can be found at www.septa.org/events/sports.html

The Broad Street Line provides convenient service to Phillies games and other big events for riders throughout the region. There is a free transfer to the Broad Street Line from the Market-Frankford Line and City Trolley routes at 15th Street/City Hall, and it is just a short walk from Regional Rail stations in Center City. The Broad Street Line also connects to bus routes that provide service throughout the city and region, and it is easily accessible from the PATCO High Speed Line for riders from South Jersey.
