Hyundai-Rotem and SEPTA will provide an update on the status of Silverliner V repairs during a press conference at PennFab, Inc., which is fabricating replacement beams for the trains. In addition to learning details about this process, the media will have an opportunity to see how PennFab is manufacturing the beams. SEPTA wil also discuss the scheduled return of Silverliner V cars to passenger service.

Silverliner V manufacturer Hyundai-Rotem selected PennFab to manufacture replacement beams for the trains. The Bensalem-based company is fabricating the 480 beams that are needed for the reconstructed suspension systems that will be installed on all 120 Silverliner Vs.
