Spring 2015 Schedule Changes Begin on Sunday, February 8, 2015

Adjustments Include Major Route and Boarding Changes for Bus Riders In Southwest Philadelphia and Delaware County

Spring Schedule Changes go into effect on SEPTA’s City and Suburban Bus, Subway and Trolley Lines beginning on Sunday, February 8, 2015. While most schedule changes address minor running time adjustments, SEPTA will introduce improvements to benefit Upper Darby, Yeadon, South and Southwest Philadelphia riders effective February 9, 2015. They include:

Route 68 – Effective Monday, February 9, service will be extended to serve 69th Street Transportation Center, replacing the limited Route 116 service. The combined route will improve access to the USPS Facility at 74th and Lindbergh, Eastwick Industrial Park and the Eastwick and Elmwood neighborhoods.

Routes 107, 109, 110 and 111 – Beginning Monday, February 9, these routes will move to new, temporary boarding locations at the 69th Street Transportation Center located at the corner of Market St. and N. Chatham Rd. Customers should anticipate delays of 3 minutes, reflected in new schedules. The boarding changes are part of the West Terminal Reconstruction Project, and will last until September 2015.

Route 108 – Route has been streamlined to operate between 69th Street Transportation Center and Philadelphia International Airport, with additional weekend and weekday trips added to address crowding issues.

Route 116 – Service discontinued effective Monday, February 9, replaced by extended Route 68 service.
