Weekend Shuttle Busing on SEPTA’s NHSL between 69th St. Transportation Center and Bryn Mawr Bus Substitution

Scheduled for Oct. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, 27-28 and Nov. 3-4 and 10-11; Customers Advised to Allow for Extra Travel Time

Due to construction, buses will replace all train service on SEPTA’s Norristown High Speed Line (NHSL) between 69th Street Transportation Center and Bryn Mawr Station on the following weekends:

  • October 6-7, 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28
  • November 3-4 and 10-11

All NHSL train service will begin and end at Bryn Mawr Station. Customers traveling toward 69th Street Transportation Center should board buses in the Southbound Parking Lot at Bryn Mawr Station. Customers traveling toward Norristown Transportation Center should transfer from buses to trains at Bryn Mawr Station for continued service.

Customers should add approximately 20 minutes of additional travel time to their trips. Timetables for Saturday and Sunday service are available at https://www.septa.org/alert/nhsl.html.

ADA passengers traveling toward Norristown Transportation Center should transfer from shuttle buses to trains at Gulph Mills Station for continued service. ADA passengers traveling toward 69th Street Transportation Center should transfer from trains to buses at Gulph Mills Station.

In addition to shuttle busing, opposite side train boarding due to track work will take place between Bryn Mawr and Township Line Road Stations on Fridays from 10 pm until the end of service on Saturdays.

  • On October 5-7 and 26-27 and November 2-3, all trains will board from the inbound platform (toward 69th Street Transportation Center).
  • On October 12-13 and 19-20 and November 9-10, all trains will board from the outbound platform (toward Norristown Transportation Center).
