This new initiative will provide job seekers with information about potential career paths at SEPTA, including how to navigate the application process – all from the comfort of their computer.
“Safety is always the top priority at SEPTA,” said SEPTA Director of Recruiting and Talent Management Gregory Branch. “The virtual event will allow candidates to access the same resources they would receive at a traditional job fair without the need to attend an in-person gathering during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
SEPTA will hold two sessions of its Virtual Skilled Trades Job Fair:
- Tuesday, December 8, 2020, from 12 to 1:30 pm
- Thursday, December 10, 2020, from 5 to 6:30 pm
Both sessions will give applicants the opportunity to speak directly with SEPTA’s hiring managers.
The Authority is looking to fill the following positions:
- Bus Mechanic
- Rail Vehicle Mechanic
- Rail Vehicle Electrical/Electronic Maintainer
- Mason
- Building Electrician
- Welder
- HVAC Maintainer (Vehicles & Buildings)
- Journeyman Plumber
