SEPTA Vehicles Dressed in ‘Trolley’-day Style

'Tis the Season for SEPTA's Holiday Trolleys

Twinkling lights, festive wreaths, shiny ornaments-some of SEPTA’s trolleys are putting commuters that holly, jolly holiday spirit.

Operators Gary Mason and Dave Musgrave used hundreds of lights, yards of garland and tons of ornaments, all to make the season brighter for their passengers.

The festive trolleys can be found on the following routes:

  • Trolley #9001, operating on Route 15, Tuesday-Friday from 12:24-10:49 am
  • Trolley #9055, operating on Route 36, Monday-Friday from 10:56 am-8:40 pm

A SEPTA Holiday Trolley will also make trips from the 40th Street Trolley Portal to 15th Street Station every 30 minutes on Saturday, December 15, from 10 am-5 pm as part of the holiday celebration at the Trolley Portal Gardens. Santa’s SEPTA elves from Victory District also decorated a Media/Sharon Hill Line trolley, celebrating the holiday season and commemorating the world champion Eagles. The “Philly Special” trolley will be on display at the end of the Route 101 on Orange Street in Media, Delaware County, today, through Friday, December 14 from 9 am – 1 pm
